MSC Musica is a new design of ship for MSC Cruises. It was introduced in the spring of 2006, and will be followed by a two sister ships in the Spring of 2007. Musica is scheduled to sail on European cruises out of Venice.
MSC's Italian style is emphasized throughout the new ship's design, cuisine and service. Onboard highlights include a three-deck waterfall in the central foyer with a piano 'suspended' by means of a transparent crystal floor above a pool of water; a 13,000-square-foot spa/beauty facility offering aerobics, yoga, aromatherapy, thalassotherapy, chromotherapeutic hydro-massage and a purifying Turkish bath; A 7,000 square-foot casino; two restaurants, a Sushi Bar, an a la carte restaurant and a pizza/grill; a Cigar Room, Wine Tasting Bar and Coffee Bar, as well as a 46-foot-long bar in the casino and a Well-being and Fitness Center Bar; a three-deck theatre that seats 1,240, and a panoramic disco at the ship's stern. 85% of the accommodations are oceanview and 65% have balconies.

Unlike most MSC ships, the new Musica class ships feature plenty of balcony cabins, 809 of them. They have expanded the number of cabins for the physically challenged to fifteen. All of the staterooms include a mini-bar fridge, a safe, and a flat-screen television. They are plushly appointed with billowy pillows and heavy drapes.
The topside pool area features a large projection screen for movies and satellite broadcasts. The poolside buffet area has expanded its hours to also offer casual dining at night. Room service has a limited menu, and any kind of substantial meal carries a three Euro service charge.
